Hi, I’m Erin
I work with individuals and couples/relationships through an emotions-focused and experiential approach. Each session we focus on what is most important to you.
Counselling is deeply personal work, and I take seriously the responsibility and gift of being allowed in to understand your experience, to come alongside you in your journey of exploration, and to witness your transformation.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor I am passionate about creating a kind and caring space to help you explore your unique experience.
Over the past decade, I have been exploring the transformative power of emotion, both as it relates to personal and community change. This led me to pursue a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science, focused on Affect Theory and Indigenous Politics, alongside roles in policy and advocacy work. Ultimately, the same passion for the ability of emotion to transform our inner and outer worlds, led me to pursue my M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and have a Master's of Education from UBC in Counselling Psychology, as well as a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science.
I have advanced training in Internal Family Systems, the Gottman Method, and Emotions-Focused Therapy for Couples. -
I specialize in working with individuals who are looking to prevent and recover from burnout.
Additionally, I specialize in working with individuals and couples working through relational challenges. This can include work around attachment styles, relational trauma, and communication tools.
Many of the clients I work with are recovering from chronic stress, people pleasing tendencies, and perfectionism.

My approach to counselling is grounded in training, research, and evidence-based approaches. The foundation of my approach includes Internal Family Systems, Emotions-Focused Therapy, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy.
In our sessions, I take an emotions-focused and experiential approach to help you make the most of our time together. We’ll explore your emotions and current experiences with curiosity, while also identifying the cognitive and behavioral patterns at play. With compassion, we’ll envision change and put it into practice both in and outside of therapy. Clients often leave feeling a sense of peace, relief, and equipped with strategies to use between sessions. -
My approach to counselling is grounded in my understanding of human transformation and change.
Each person’s story is important and should be held with care and compassion.
Human beings are inherently resilient and transformative change is possible.
Roadblocks can arise when patterns of behaviour, beliefs, and emotions that once served us, no longer do.
Resolutions can be found by re-examining our roadblocks through the lens of curiosity and compassion.
